La Emperie Policies


All prices are stated on www.laemperie.com.au are in Australian Dollars

Processing times

Every La Emperie set you order is handcrafted, packaged and perfected with care and dedication.   Each set is created in the order to which it was purchased. On average please allow 7 working days for your order to be processed and shipped.

Processing each order can vary and may take longer than expected during times of high volume, in which case you will be advised. If you require your order processed in a hurry, please order the ‘Rush and Express Ship’ option. Please do be aware that Rush and Express options may experience delays outside the control of La Emperie, such as delays with Postal Services or serious events that prohibit La Emperie from completing the order (refer refund policy).

La Emperie cannot be held liable for postal delays but will endeavour to work with the carrier regarding any issues.

Visual Disclaimer

There may be variations to the way colours are viewed on your device, and many factors can alter the way we view colour - however every set of nails is photographed to capture it’s true to life look. Some sets photograph better in natural/outdoor light and others photograph better under an LED ring light. In both situations there may be a slight variance to the true colour no matter how hard we try to capture it. There is often no issue and if you require any assistance, please contact us.

It is important though to note that all sets are individually handcrafted and when mimicking an original set there may be slight variations to the final product.

You will always receive a brilliantly crafted set in which only Salon Quality products have been used to create. La Emperie will never skimp on quality, ever.

Designs are subject to change based on availability of supplies including, but not limited to, polish colours, gems, and accents if in the case something is unavailable to create the set you ordered then La Emperie will contact you to discuss.

If in the case there is no response within 2 business days / 72 hours your nails will be completed and delivered. La Emperie cannot be held liable for non-responses from it’s customers after attempts to contact have been made.


La Emperie offers a guideline to shapes and sizing. The options for sizing are generic and if you experience issues with sizing prior to your order, please contact La Emperie for assistance. La Emperie is not liable to refund for generic sizing orders. If you are selecting a generic size La Emperie cannot be held liable for ill fitting sets as orders are based on measurements provided by the customer and no refunds or exchanges will be offered in this instance. La Emperie provides sets of 20 nails designed to take the hassle and stress out of sizing, you can also purchase a sizing kit if you prefer - please contact La Emperie (info@laemperie.com.au) regarding sizing kits and sizing queries. La Emperie will only guarantee sizing when a sizing kit is purchased prior to production and the customer has provided their nail sizes to La Emperie.

Refunds / Returns / Cancellations (If applicable)

As with all products that are for personal care use, La Emperie nails cannot be returned or refunded as they cannot be resold for hygienic purposes as there is no way for La Emperie to contact trace your set.

All shipping costs are at the customers expense, La Emperie will only accept returns for un-used nail supplies with tracked and signature postage and you agree to this policy when contracting in purchase with La Emperie.

La Emperie will review any requests for cancellation/refund/modification on a case by case basis and is at the complete discretion of La Emperie to make any changes to your order. Refunds are not issued for customer error when ordering for instance, customer has measured their nail sizes incorrectly and not purchased a sizing kit prior to production, buyers remorse or incorrectly ordered supplies or Press on Nails.

Reviewing of refunds can take up to 7 business days before being processed.

If for any reason La Emperie is unable to process your order or needs to cancel/refund your order you will be notified.

Incorrect Customer Sized Orders, Sale Orders, Custom Orders, Rush Orders will not be refunded.

Due to hygiene reasons we cannot accept exchange or returns on non-faulty items so please choose carefully! 

La Emperie does not refund for change of mind, customer error in measurement without the use of sizing kit prior to production or set of 20 being ordered, or for subtle and unavoidable variations in colour, position, finish or texture that sometimes may occur between the photographed set advertised and the remake delivered to the customer.

La Emperie will not refund / exchange because a customer may not care for a product’s colour, shape or perceived performance on the individual or has incorrectly measured their natural nails. These are not faults.

Any custom products cannot be returned. The customer needs to be certain that any slight variations occurring between the actual colour, and the representation on our website, will be acceptable.

Products used to create La Emperie Nails are extremely unlikely to cause any adverse reaction. If you do experience an allergic reaction cease use. La Emperie  is not responsible for any individual reaction to any set created by La Emperie. If you have allergies to Gel or Acrylic please consider this before purchase.

Gift cards / Vouchers – there are no returns on gift cards at all and expiry date cannot be extended.

Shipping costs will be deducted from any refunds issued as well as any Transaction / Processing fee incurred by La Emperie at the time of refund.

If approved for refund, your refund (less shipping and fees) will be processed, and applied to your original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet please check with your banking institution, credit card company or financial provider. Refunds issued by La Emperie still require processing from whatever provider you have used at time of original payment and may take some time before your refund is officially deposited.

La Emperie ships world wide using Australia Post and other carriers internationally respectively.

Every order is sent with tracking and notification of your tracking number will be issued to you within 24 hours of your item being shipped.

La Emperie will not be held liable for any duties or taxes incurred from other countries

Please ensure you check and are happy with the shipping information you provide on your order as La Emperie cannot be held liable for incorrect data information from customers at time of order. If you have made an error, please contact La Emperie immediately so that we can rectify the issue with you. In the case an order is returned to La Emperie due to incorrect address information, we will contact you regarding this issue, resending based on customer data entry error will be at expense to the customer.

La Emperie cannot be held liable for lost, damaged, misdelivered or stolen packages. Every order is sent with either National or International tracking, unless customer choosing express / signature delivery at checkout. Rush orders will be sent standard unless express shipping is purchased at checkout.

Packages sent internationally have a dollar value attached for customs and if there is any issue with your parcel we will work with the carrier in question to remedy the issue as best we can. However as stated La Emperie cannot be held liable for a Postal Services actions.

When products are unavailable

There may be unforeseen circumstances under which it is not possible for La Emperie to supply a product at all. If this occurs, it may be necessary for us to cancel orders for that product. We will refund or cancel your payment, but do not accept liability for any other loss or damage arising as a result.


By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency
